We present here a very special concert - a portrait of 1920s’ Berlin, a portrait comprised of sound and stories. This city, that both politically and aesthetically is a modern day Babylon, daringly mixes radical fashion with conservative extremism in an attempt to forget the nightmarish war. This perpetual attempt to forget is exemplified by the frivolous fever of jazz, but also by the rebellious aggression of the arts.
“A peculiar look” by Eckart Runge and Jacques Amon, which will reveal secrets and remind of the explosive contrasts of the past. And, maybe, the present?
