Petar Naydenov

Petar Naydenov is a bulgarian double bass player with ambitions as soloist and for chamber music. After finishing his studies with great success, he was engaged as solo double bass player in the Bulgarian National Radio Chamber Orchestra. He continued his education with Prof. Wolfgang Güttler in Germany and played orchestra and chamber repertoire in the most important concert halls of Europe. He played in concert with renowned soloists like Placido Domingo, Mstislav Rostropovich, Maxim Vengerov, Micha Maisky and James Galway, just to name a few.

Petar Naydenov is currently solo double bass player in the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and teaches at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). On the other hand he is founder and Artistic Director of  the Allegra Festival and Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria.
